- My Next Move - describe your ideal job in a few words or answer a few questions and receive suggestions and ideas.
Find training (and $ for it)
Want to learn new skills or earn a certification? These resources can help you get ready for in-demand jobs.

- Talk to your DCF worker about other programs near you.
You may qualify for free training through WIOA if you:
- Are unemployed or underemployed
- Are age 16–24
- Face barriers to employment like having a disability or parenting
Apply for a paid internship
Are you in foster care and age 14–22? You can apply for a paid internship ($20/hour).
You can work at:
- Local businesses
- Nonprofits
- Volunteer organizations
This is a great way to:
- Build job skills
- Explore careers
- Gain work experience
- Earn money
