Debarment list (businesses unable to bid on public works contracts)

A list of businesses that have been temporarily barred from bidding on state and municipal public works contracts.

When a business has been issued a Stop Work Order (SWO) by the Office of Investigations, it is placed on the Department of Industrial Accidents' Debarment List. Once on the Debarment List, a business is prevented from bidding or participating in any state or municipal funded contracts for a period of 3 years and, where applicable, is subject to penalties provided under MGL c. 152, § 14.

The DIA’s debarment list is published/posted on the 10th of each month or the next business day after a holiday or weekend and contains data through the end the previous calendar month.

Please be advised that when a business has been issued a Stop Work Order (SWO) by the Office of Investigations, it is immediately placed on the debarment list. The business is debarred from bidding or participating in any state or municipal funded contracts for a period of 3 years from the date of the SWO, pursuant c. 152 § 25C.  Circumstances may arise which may lead to revisions, please contact the Office of Investigations at: DIAInvestigation@mass.gov or (857) 321-7406 for the most recent information on any business in question.
