Disability Plates and Placards (Questions about, information and resources)
Through Medical Affairs, the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles issues special license plates and placards to people with disabilities who meet certain medical qualifications.
Visit the Disability Plates and Placards page to learn more and apply for a disability placard. You can also request report suspected disability parking abuse.
Note: The OIG does not handle disability parking abuse complaints. The ISAU investigated disability parking abuse and issued a report in 2016.
