Colby Rose Dowling came into this world with loving parents. She was a curious girl and loved animals. One day when she was at school I found a cage in her closet with baby rabbits, she wanted to rescue them
from our cats. Colby graduated from High School with her hair dressing license. She did hair for a year and decided to go to college for Criminal Justice and received her Associates. She loved kids and was Auntie to many of her friends children.
Colby was a compassionate women. She had so many friends that deeply miss her. She has a sister Baily that she thought she would grow old with. When I got a knock on my door on the 21st of September at 1am, I thought it was her wanting to spend the night. It wasn't her. It was 2 State police
officers telling me that Colby had been shot and died. I could not believe it. I thought they were lying to me. My life has never been the same either has Bailys. He took from us our Colby who we loved deeply. Hers friends also tell me she was always the prettiest and kindest friend,
she lit up the room wherever she was. She was kind and she was generous. Our lives will never be the same. We will never hear her infamous laugh again. We will never be able to watch the achievements she was working on. We will never go to her wedding or be there when her first child is born. She was robbed of this. We were
robbed as well. The void in our lives will always be with us.
