The 2024 Municipal Firefighter Examination consists of two components, a written test and an entry-level physical ability test (ELPAT).

Application Deadline: August 27, 2024
Notices to Appear for Written Test: October 3, 2024
Written Examination Beginning Date: October 17, 2024 - October 26, 2024
Notices to Appear for ELPAT: Two weeks prior to your scheduled date and time
Score Release Date: April 7, 2025
Employment/Experience (E/E) Last Day to Appeal: April 24, 2025
Eligible List Establishment Date: May 1, 2025

Written Examination Fee: $75
Examination Fee Waiver Form Available Online. 

Written Test Location: Various Sites across the Commonwealth
ELPAT Test Location: 571A Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749
