Overview of Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) 2019 Retreat
Craig Andrade, Director of the Bureau of Family Health and Nutrition, will provide the keynote on the Bureau priorities and Shauna Crane from the Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education will provide a brief overview of the roles and responsibilities of the ICC. There will be a discussion of the past year's accomplishments and an opportunity to set priorities for FY2020.
PLEASE NOTE: This year's retreat is open to the early childhood community, parents, providers and other state agency members.
Coffee and tea will be served in the morning. Lunch will be on your own; the Best Western will make a soup and salad buffet available for $10.95 plus tax and tip.
Please register to attend by September 13, 2019 to ensure we have adequate space.
Objectives:
- Participants will understand the purpose and functions of the ICC under IDEA.
- The ICC will understand the distinction between advice, assistance, and advocacy.
- The ICC will set priorities for the 2019-20 year.
