Somerville I-93 Viaduct preservation

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has rehabilitated the I-93 Viaduct in Somerville between Exit 21 and Temple Street. The project was completed in Winter 2025/2026.

Somerville I-93 Viaduct Preservation work took place from Summer 2022 to Winter 2025/2026. These necessary repairs and improvements have extended the life span of the Viaduct.
