The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program’s Surveillance Report for Calendar Year 2020 is available. This annual report includes:
- Screening rates and blood lead level prevalence data (statewide, municipality, high-risk communities, rural clusters)
- The 2020 High-Risk Community List
- Discussion of the 2020 COVID-19 impact on screening and prevalence
- Why lead poisoning is a health equity issue
Prior to 2020, we produced two reports: one with screening rates and blood lead level prevalence data and the second report with a list of communities at high risk for childhood lead poisoning. For 2020 and going forward, we are combining these reports into one convenient, easier to read document.
