Susan's service journey began in the Army, and her commitment to serving others continues to shape her life today. As a dedicated MA Women Veterans Network team member within the MA Executive Office of Veterans' Services, Susan works tirelessly to support and advocate for women veterans. She understands the importance of establishing connections and building relationships within the community, believing that it is crucial for women veterans to be aware of their benefits and to connect with others who share similar experiences.

In addition to her work with the MA Women Veterans Network, Susan is deeply involved with the American Legion, demonstrating her passion for serving her fellow veterans. Proud of her Irish heritage, Susan also plays a significant role in the planning committee for the annual South Boston (Southie) St. Patrick's Day Parade, where she celebrates her roots and contributes to a cherished community tradition. Through her dedication, Susan continues to impact the lives of veterans and her community positively.
