Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition

The Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition is a public-private partnership of diverse business, non-profit, and worker advocates on behalf of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development that focuses on elevating the needs of family caregivers as a talent attraction and retention strategy. We believe that every employer in Massachusetts has a role to play in recognizing, honoring, and empowering the caregivers in their workforce.

Mission

To partner with and encourage Massachusetts employers in any stage of progress of supporting their employee caregivers by:

• Highlighting the needs and economic impact of employee caregivers;
• Identifying, sharing, and leveraging best practices inclusive of all employer sizes, locations, and types of workforces;
• Championing employee caregiver policies; and
• Enabling culture change for caregivers across all sectors of the economy.

The Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition brings together employers, advocates, and government partners to support family caregivers within the workforce. By fostering a culture of recognition andsupport for caregivers, we not only enhance the well-being and productivity of our employees but also strengthen the economic fabric of the Commonwealth. Through collaboration and commitment, we can create a more inclusive and supportive workplace environment, ensuring that caregivers receive the recognition and resources they deserve.
