Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition
What we do
To meet employers to become more caregiver-friendly—whether they’re just beginning or already leading the way. The Coalition does this by:
- Highlighting the needs and economic impact of employee caregivers;
- Sharing best practices across all industries and business sizes;
- Championing supportive policies; and
- Fostering a culture of inclusion and empathy for caregivers across every sector of the economy.
Our history
The Coalition was launched in 2019 by the Massachusetts Business Roundtable (MBR). In 2024, leadership transitioned to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, aligning the Coalition more closely with the Massachusetts Workforce Agenda. This agenda recognizes caregiving as a critical workforce issue and emphasizes supporting workers through a whole-of-government approach that addresses the cost and impact of caregiving.
