Lisa's story is one of dedicated service and commitment to both her country and community. Currently serving as the Assistant Adjutant General for the Massachusetts Air National Guard, Lisa's journey began when she joined the Air Force as a BMC Durfee High School senior in Fall River. Since starting her career as an Airman Basic in 1988, Lisa has risen through the ranks, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and dedication.

What sets Lisa apart is her illustrious military career and her unique family dynamic. She serves alongside her husband, CMSgt Dan Ahaesy, and their daughters, Julia & Laura-Kate Ahaesy, who are Airmen 1st Class/E3s in the 102d Intelligence Wing, Cape Cod, Mass. Their commitment to service underscores the importance of family values and dedication to a common cause.

In addition to her military service, Lisa is deeply involved in her community. She serves as a member of the Town of Somerset's Veteran Advisory Board, where she continues to advocate for veterans' needs, and is a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8500 in Somerset.
