Carol's journey embodies a deep commitment to serving her country and fellow veterans. After graduating from New Bedford High School, she embarked on a path of service by joining the Marine Corps at just 17 years old. Throughout her military career, Carol served as a Personnel Clerk & Personnel Chief, undertaking responsibilities around the globe.

Her dedication and exemplary service were recognized during Operation Desert Storm when she was meritoriously promoted to Sergeant by the Commanding General of Fleet Marine Forces Europe, a moment she considers among her proudest achievements. After transitioning from active duty, Carol found her true calling as the Westport Veterans Service Officer in April 2019.

Carol passionately advocates for veterans and their families in her role, providing vital support and assistance. Actively involved in various veterans’ organizations and serving on the Board of Directors of the Veterans Association of Bristol County in Fall River, Carol continues to impact the lives of those who have served. Her unwavering dedication and commitment to her fellow veterans inspire all who know her.
