Overview of Fall River Advisory Board Meeting - November 14, 2018
Advisory boards help DTA meet its mission and achieve goals. Members provide feedback and develop recommendations for DTA. to improve policy, expand access to services and improve local office performance. Members meet at least ten times per year. Advisory boards allow DTA to share information about ongoing work and new initiatives.
Who is on the advisory board?
Each board has 15 to 30 members. Board members represent varied interests. Interests include disability support organizations, local housing authorities, local businesses, and community representatives. DTA's Commissioner appoints board members. Members serve three-year terms in a volunteer capacity.
