ANGELA C. McCONNEY

Angela C. McConney serves as General Counsel for the Civil Service Commission. She is a former Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney and former Chief Legal Counsel to the Massachusetts House of Representatives Joint Committee on Criminal Justice.

McConney serves on the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) Executive Management Board, Budget and Finance Committee, represents Suffolk County as a Delegate in the MBA House of Delegates, and is a fellow of the MBA Foundation. She is the Treasurer of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and was the president of that organization from 2006-2007. McConney is also a member of the Suffolk University Litigation American Inn of Court.

McConney is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Iowa College of Law.
