Summer Walk-In Tour Program at the John Adams Courthouse

In addition to the summer Wednesday walk-in tour program, scheduled tours for groups are also available year round by reservation. All Tours of the John Adams Courthouse are free of charge. Anyone wishing to schedule a tour should contact Discovering Justice at 617-557-1031 or complete a tour request form
The John Adams Courthouse is a historic nineteenth century building and one of Boston's architectural gems and is steeped in legal history, art and culture. Tours include the Great Hall and its exhibit rooms, the Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. Courtroom and the Seven-Justice Courtroom of the Supreme Judicial Court. Current exhibits include: John Adams: The Law, the Nation, and the Massachusetts Constitution and The Case of Sacco and Vanzetti: Justice on Trial.
