What does a healthy relationship look like? Healthy relationships have positive characteristics that everyone should expect. 

Unhealthy relationships 

An unhealthy relationship may have an ongoing pattern of behavior, such as lack of communication, respect, or boundaries. Unhealthy relationships often make people feel anxious, confused, guilty, ashamed, and even unsafe.

Helping a friend 

If you see the signs of unhealthy behaviors and suspect that someone you care about may be in an unhealthy or abusive relationship of any kind, learn how you can support them and help them stay safe.
